Ex-hostage Betancourt arrives in France

Former hostage Ingrid Betancourt arrived in France today, two days after a daring rescue mission freed her after six years in captivity in the jungle of Colombia. Betancourt is set for a hero's welcome. President Nicolas Sarkozy plans to greet Betancourt and the Vatican said the pope would meet with her as soon as his schedule permits. developing story
